Speak to me in a language I can understand

Deeply introverted, visual and symbolic imagery has always appealed to me as a mode of communication. Artwork in the public sphere is an extension of this desire to provoke radical imagination about the ways in which we interact with and percieve the world around us.

The wattlebird made her presence known when I most needed her message: stand your ground and speak the truth. The truth will either set you free or imprison you (it set me free).

Waru, the crow, is a protective spirit. The hummingbird is the smallest of the wattlebird family, and incredibly tenacious nd resilient.

Images provoke the viewer to question their meaning. These birds speak.
